How to trick EA employees to get games for free!

This is how to talk to an EA online chat rep and get a free key from them. For your first time, I
suggest doing a game ~$20. The higher the price, the more talking and complaining you will
have to do. Alright, let’s just get to it.
You are going to need to go here: http://tinyurl.com/4q35haj You are going to need to login to
an EA account. Create one if you don’t already have one. Then, just enter the queue for the chat.
Depending on the day and time of day, queue times will vary. Now for the hardest part… the
talk. The overview of the plan is to have a key for a game that doesn’t work. I used YQRX-
9F2C-JW75-9JR6-8RLC for Battlefield Bad Company 2. I got it from a keygen. All EA keys
are in that format, four to each section, with a total of 20 numbers/letters. That is pretty much it.
This is how the chat should go, follow what I type and you will be getting a key in no time.
Here is an example of a longer chat. This varies based on your employee:
Kate: Hi, my name is Kate. How may I help you?
ME: Hey. I got Battlefield Bad Company 2 yesterday but when I used the key, it wouldn't work.
Kate: I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
ME: I typed in the key exactly how it was printed but it still said it was invalid. Can you help
me?
Kate: please provide me the code

Kate: from where you have purchased the game?
ME: I got it from the EA store.
Kate: please provide me the order no
ME: I don't have an order number. I threw out the paper I got with the game.
Kate: please provide me the EA email ID which you have used to purchase the game
ME: MY EMAIL
Kate: I am sorry but there are no details
Kate: do you have game manual with that code, printed on its backside ?
ME: Yes I do.
Kate: do you have any media (digital cam/webcam/mobile camera) or scanner to take the pics of
the manual?
ME: My only camera is at a friend’s house about 30 minutes away. I don't think I can take a
picture.
Kate: may I know when did you purchase the game?
ME: I think about a week ago. I received it in the mail yesterday.
Kate: please show me the snapshot of that email
ME: How?
ME: I don't have a camera to do it.
Kate: press the button "print screen/SysRq" near the scroll lock button & then open Paint & go
to edit tab and hit paste then save that pictures on the desktop and attach the pictures in chat
window.
ME: I'll see if I can find the e-mail. I don't know if I deleted it or not.
ME: I can't find the e-mail. It's not in my inbox or trash folders. I think it got cleared out.
Kate: please provide me your EA email ID
ME: If that means my e-mail, then it is MY EMAIL
Kate: may I know the game's edition?
ME: Regular.
Kate: okay, I am making a rare exception for you and providing you a new code . please give
me a moment

This is considered as scamming, and I disapprove of it. However theres nothing illegal here as the employees take full responsibility when giving you a new serial number so I won't disallow it.
Back to the topic, I think this only works if the employee is either really dumb, or retarded. Nomally you will be required to send some sort of proof of purchase before the employees are allowed to give you a new serial. So don't ask me how you did it.

Well yes this is nothing more then a scam like PickMeDown pointed out. If you are living in the states i don't really even see a need for this as all you needed to do was to go into a store and pay for a game. Normally games will give you around 15-20 hours of gameplay. Once you are done with the game bring it back and change it for something else. They all come with a one week exchange policy. If you really like the game and want to keep it then pay those who spent time and effort making the game. Without them there won't be all these amazing games for us.
